Book 3 in production!

NYComicCon was awesome again this year. Got to see a bunch of old friends and collaborators. The response to One Live Beast Book 2 was overwhelming. I am so thankful to all the people that came out to grab the 2nd book!! The most touching part of the con was when an avid fan of One Live Beast approached me and told me how much she loved reading the book, and how she has been eagerly awaiting the release of book 2. That's the reason i do the stuff 
Book 3 is in the infancy stage. I have already plotted out the main story beats, and I am putting together the script now. And I promise you, if you have been along for the ride since book 1, the final chapter of this trilogy is going to blow you away. My approach to the book is this: if book 1 was creating Chris's world, and book 2 was exploring it...book 3 is going to take everything you know about Chris, and his entire universe, and turn it upside-down, inside out, and leave you staring off into space at the end of Chris's saga. I don't want to give away too much, but I will say this...you will feel what I felt when I finished plotting Book 3. Chris and his friends took me on a journey and let me tell their story-once they did, I became a passenger on the One Live Beast bus while the story took me to where it needed to go. And I assure you-not one of you has any idea where this story is gunna go. I'm all in on this one, folks...the story dictates some very creative and innovative storytelling techniques, and I am very amped up and eager to get started on drawing the book. You will see some WIPs on DeviantArt, but the finished work will awe you.
Time to go write and sketch some more stuff...see ya soon!

The long-awaited Book Two of the One Live Beast Trilogy will premiere at New York Comic Con on October 12th, 2012 at the Atlas Unleashed booth(#2447) and will be available from then on in both digital and print formats.
Clocking in at a hefty 220 pages of gripping story and explosive art, this tome promises to deliver what fans of the series have been waiting for- action, suspense, mystery, romance, and, most of all, answers to some of the questions that have been haunting series protagonist Chris Addams.

Chris Addams is the unlikely leader of those who question the complacency of a walled-off world in the not-so-far future, where terrorist attacks have drastically altered the United States. Using the strange abilities Chris developed in Book One, he must race around the world to try to stop malevolent forces from taking over the planet while the lives of some of his closest friends, and the entire world, hang in the balance.
"I wanted to continue exploring the ideas that were established in Book One while exploring new territory, both literally and figuratively, in Book Two. The comics landscape is filled with huge soap opera-esque "superhero" books, and there isn't too much heroism going on these days. These characters have been established for 50+ years, and many feel that they have run their course. One Live Beast is here for readers that may feel jaded by mainstream comics, and want to try something new."

That's the equivalent of TEN standard mainstream comics at a fraction of the cost. Book One of the One Live Beast trilogy is available at many major book stores, including Barnes & Noble, as well as many online bookstores. It is also available at major comic book stores worldwide. We are currently in negotiations to bring Book Two to those same outlets, as well as making it available through Diamond Distributors. There will be retailer incentives for vendors that purchase Book Two, including free original art, posters, and various promotional items.

Coloring Stuff and Finalizing...

...One Live Beast book 2, as well as The Avenging Answer. Both will be out by the fall of this year. I have been drawing on my Cintiq for a bout 2 months now, and I can't even remember what drawing on paper felt like. It is, without a doubt, the single greatest tool I have ever come across. Expect this to be a banner year in terms of production!

is lettered and packaged, and ready to go!! I am doing a kickstarter fundraiser for it, and i will post the link here as soon as that is ready to go. One Live Beast fans, fear not, book 2 is being lettered and close to complete. Expect both of these awesome books to be out this year!!
